This pillow is very soft to touch, but is firm in support. The fill is a polyester fiber, but the sham is zippered so the fill could be replaced with a less firm material if desired. It is well made with quality stitching. I was worried due to some corduroy material being rough, but this pillow is very pleasing to the skin. The yellow is bright, but is not intrusive. A great value at the current price; after seeing the pillow in person I would have paid double.
