I carefully researched similar products and felt this suited my needs best at a reasonable cost. It arrived in a very compact shipping container. Upon opening, it quickly expanded to full size w/o affecting the product. I have severe allergies, and there is no odor with the wedge. I was able to use it immediately w/o having to let it "air" first. I bought king size, and it is exactly half the width of a king-size bed so fits well. The wedge strikes the right balance between comfort and firmness. The cost is much lower than similar products, yet is high quality. I'd rather sleep w/o the wedge, but since I need it for a medical condition this works well. Initially, sleeping inclined put pressure on my hips, but after a couple of weeks I don't notice it anymore. It's a good way to test sleeping inclined in order to decide if one wants to invest in an expensive bed that inclines.
